                  Lesson Rates and Area Accommodations

We provide all necessary gear for lessons, except wetsuit and booties.

We only teach in safe, suitable locations and conditions, and do not teach in winds over 25 mph. Our goal is to provide the safest, most educational lesson possible that will put you on the fast track to becoming a safe, independent kiter.

Booties are highly recommended during learning stages. You will be doing plenty of walking and standing in the water, as well as getting pulled around by the kite. Our riding spots have plenty of things that will cut you, including rocks, glass, shells, oyster beds, and stingrays. Pick up some kite specific booties, your feet will thank you for it! Make sure they have a Velcro foot-strap or you might lose them.

*We offer a 20% discount to active or retired uniformed officers of Military, Law, Fire, EMS, Marine Patrol, or Parks Dept. employees in Pinellas County, FL. You must provide your service ID. We appreciate your service, and our continued access.

Listed below, you will find a layout of our lesson programs and our package deals, which act as a guideline for typical progression. Many students progress well into Level 2 requirements within the first 3 hour lesson, and are self sufficient in 5-6 hours of training. See our FAQ's page for more info.

All deposits on lessons are fully refundable. Unused lesson time will be rescheduled or refunded via PayPal.

We also have great rates for larger groups, including families, corporate retreats, youth groups, schools, and non-profit organizations. Give us a call to help you plan a unique watersports experience for your group!

Kiteboarding Tampa Bay also offers kiteboarding and wakeboarding exhibitions for events of all types.
